JOB: Executive Director, ADHD Embrace – apply by 21 Jul

Salary: £45,000 per annum / 40 hours per week (or 32 hours by agreement)

ADHD Embrace is looking for a leader with strong managerial skills to take them into their next stage of development.

ADHD Embrace is a small and impactful community support charity operating out of South West London. The charity is now seeking to appoint a new Executive Director to lead the execution of the charity’s mission with the long-term goal of ensuring it is a sustainable organisation with a positive team culture.

The Executive Director will be pivotal in leading the organisation through its next phase of development. This is a wide-ranging role and the key responsibilities cover the following:

  • Strategy and service delivery
  • Leadership, management and culture
  • Fundraising and financial oversight
  • Advocacy, external relationships and communication

The Executive Director should be a self-starter, analytical and creative in finding solutions, and have the energy to lead the charity onto its next stage in a changing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a leadership role in the voluntary sector or in a small company with a multi-disciplinary team, as well as experience of leading a complex team structure to deliver services and transformation against multiple goals.

The Executive Director will have good interpersonal skills and the ability to manage teams and ways of working which enhance teamwork and maximise operational efficiencies.

This is a hybrid role which is currently mostly remote, but with the requirement to attend events and some meetings in person. It will include some evenings and occasional weekends. In future the charity may get an office or shared working space, so candidates that are local to Richmond and Kingston would be preferred.

The closing date for applications is Monday 21 July 2025.
