Salary: £33,500 per annum / 36 hours per week

Crossroads Care Richmond and Kingston upon Thames is a non-profit organisation and network partner of Carers Trust, the UK’s leading provider of support for carers and the people they care for.

For over 35 years, they have provided bespoke, high-quality home and community respite services in Richmond and Kingston to give carers who are looking after loved-ones of all ages and disabilities a vital break.

They are seeking a dynamic Care Manager to ensure clients and service-users continue to receive efficient, reliable, high-quality bespoke care and support services, ensure their Care Support Workers have the administrative back-up to focus on care provision, and to provide the organisation’s CEO accurate and timely information about the service.

The role supports the Operations Manager, CEO and Trustee Board with monitoring, reporting and regular updates. It involves management responsibilities which broadly cover quality and compliance, consultation and representation of carers, input into business and staff development and the positive representation and promotion of the organisation.

You will liaise between clients and Care Support Workers, including managing referrals, scheduling client visits and risk assessments.

You’ll also work closely with the organisation’s senior management to ensure the smooth running of necessary administration and processes required.

You will need to have experience of managing and leading a multifunctional team, managing and working to budgets, and working with the home care sector.

A degree, NVQ 3/4 or equivalent qualification in a related field is required and a working knowledge of the needs of carers is desirable.

Excellent communication and influencing skills, alongside the ability to effective network are key to this role.

You may have a background in nursing or the home care sector and must be passionate at enabling people to live happy and independent lives at home.
