Help to Claim Adviser, Citizens Advice Richmond – apply by 12 March

Salary: £27,914 per annum,plus 5% employer pension contribution / 35 hours per week

Citizens Advice Richmond is recruiting a Help to claim Adviser to deliver a new service for Universal Credit claimants in Richmond borough.

Citizens Advice Richmond is contracted to deliver the local ‘Help to claim’ service to assist people to make and complete their new Universal Credit claim. The service will include helping clients face-to-face, by telephone and webchat. It is part of a national programme funded by the DWP starting in April 2019.

They are looking for someone with the ability to interview clients using sensitive listening and questioning skills to get to the root of issues and empower clients, whilst maintaining structure and control of meetings.  Applicants also need good IT skills clients and a commitment to the aims and principles of the Citizens Advice service.
