The Tweed Family Charitable Foundation offers funding for community and educational projects that inspire socially disadvantaged young people.
They are looking to support charities that offer life enhancing opportunities that would otherwise be denied to people aged under 25 years because of their circumstances. Opportunities could be educational or vocational and they hope to build long term relationships with the organisations they support.
The Foundation’s aim is to fund a limited number of new projects each year with grants typically up to £10,000 per annum for up to 3 years. They are most likely to support initiatives that have a lasting impact and it’s likely they will make awards to small organisations with an income of less than £500,000.
Initial enquiries for support should be made through their brief online form which asks for a 250 word overview of your organisation and proposed project. An application form will be provided if they wish to consider the proposal further.
The closing date to submit applications is 30 September 2021.
