FUNDING: Richmond Voluntary Fund – apply by 10 December 2021

Expressions of Interest are invited for organisations to become beneficiary charities of the Richmond Voluntary Fund in 2022.

The Trustees of the Richmond Voluntary Fund are inviting expressions of interest from voluntary and community organisations to be the chosen beneficiaries of the 2022 Charity Appeal for the Richmond Voluntary Fund.

The Richmond Voluntary Fund is a charitable trust established in 2019 to receive donations from local people to support initiatives that make a real and lasting difference to the lives of people living in Richmond upon Thames.

In 2021 it focused on children and young people’s mental health and over £100,000 was donated to Off The RecordRichmond Borough Mind, Dose of Nature and Marble Hill Playcentres.

For the coming year, the Trustees have agreed that children and young people’s mental health will continue to be the main focus of the appeal and they are are inviting expressions of interest from charities that work to support children and young people in the borough.

Out of borough providers will be considered where they are partnering with an organisation currently operating in the borough.

Applications are particularly encouraged where expertise or specialist support within the borough does not currently exist.

A free online (MS Teams) Meet the Funder’ event will take place on Wednesday 3 November 2021 10am-11.30am to understand more about the Fund. Anyone wishing to attend the event, or who has any questions about the Fund, should email RichmondVoluntaryFund@richmond.gov.uk.
