FUNDING: Mental Health Helplines Fund – apply by 3 December 2021

With support from Bupa Foundation, the Mental Health Sustainability Fund has launched a new Helplines Fund.

The Fund will specifically support smaller mental health organisations who offer a helpline provision with small grants of up to £5,000. The aim is to support sustainability in voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations with a turnover of up to £250,000.

The Fund’s definition of helpline is a service providing non-face-to-face advice, support and information via phone, email, text, SMS or online.

Application is made via a simple online form and successful applicants will be advised in mid-January 2022.

Up to 25% of the total application amount can be for core costs to support the provision of the service and the funding can go towards anything that contributes to your organisation’s sustainability. If you feel you will expand services in a different area/delivery method, this can be considered, as long as all other eligibility criteria are met. It is anticipated that any funding given will be used by early 2023.

There is a short application window of three weeks, with a closing date of 3 December 2021.
