FUNDING: Untold Stories Programme Round 2- apply by 5 October 2022

Apply now for the new round of funding to refresh public spaces by highlighting the achievements of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities, women, LGBTQ+ communities and disabled people in the public realm.

The Mayor of London is offering community-led organisations funding and support to make a change in public spaces.

It is part of the Commission for Diversity in the Public Realm, one of the Mayor’s flagship commitments to cementing London’s reputation as a diverse, global city.

The fund offers an opportunity to test, develop, grow and create projects which share community stories.

Community-led organisations are invited to apply for grants to help develop and deliver projects that increase diversity in London’s public spaces.  This could be to create something new, highlighting something that’s missing or hidden, or presenting a different story to one which already exists.

Applications can be made for small Test and Nurture grants of up to £5,000 or larger Grow and Make Happen grants of up to £25,000.

Eligible organisations must have a turnover of less than £500,000 per annum and priority will go to organisations or groups that are majority led by Black, Asian and minority ethnic Londoners, Deaf and disabled Londoners, LGBTQ+ Londoners, women or people from a lower social economic background.

There is an ongoing programme of application support. A number of free 1-2-1 online sessions are available to book throughout September where you can discuss your ideas and application. See the available dates and book by clicking here.

The closing date for applications is 5 October 2022.

The outcome of applications will be advised by February 2023 for activities to start no sooner than March 2023. All projects should be complete by end of March 2024.
