FUNDING: Black Community Commitment London – apply by 24 March 2021

Nike UK, in cooperation with the King Baudouin Foundation, has launched this new fund to provide support to organisations that are dedicated to creating lasting change for the Black community in London.

This follows NIKE Inc’s significant commitment to support the Black community in the US, focused on social justice, education and economic empowerment to address systemic racism.

Grants from £5,000 to £20,000 are available for non-profit organisations with plans to support projects for up to 12 months in any London borough.

The fund aims to support community organisations in greater London who are dedicated to creating lasting change for the Black community. The initiative will invest in organisations focused on, but not limited to:

  • Play and sport equity
  • Education
  • Economic empowerment
  • Career development
  • Access to mental health support
  • Mentorship
  • Violence prevention

Successful applicants will be announced on 30 April 2021.
