Insurance Company, Ansvar, is making funding available to registered charities in the UK and Ireland whose work specifically focuses on educating children and young people about making good lifestyle choices.
They will award three charities with grants of £15,000 a year for three years, totalling £45,000, for new or existing projects that benefit children and young people.
This could include activities which teach children about the effects of drugs and alcohol, how to make responsible choices and stay safe, or promote exercise, mental wellbeing or healthy eating.
To apply, all that’s required is an email of around 500 words outlining how a donation would be used to support your organisation’s work over the 3 year period from January 2022 to December 2024.
Judges will look for projects that are about to start, or already running, with clear examples of how children and young people benefit. They will meet at the end of November and the winning charities will be contacted by 1 December 2021.
The closing date for applications is 12 November 2021.
