4in10 is offering grants to organisations in London to help facilitate events during London Challenge Poverty Week, 11 – 17 October 2021.
4in10 is a London-wide campaigning network of over 400 organisations working to improve the lives of children living in poverty across the capital.
They are offering grants of £300 to £1,500 specifically for events during London Challenge Poverty Week. The larger grants are generally for events being shared by more than one organisation.
The range of activities funded so far includes community garden open days, online art exhibitions, youth dance and formal webinars. You can view the current list of what’s on here.
To apply, you can be a practical service provider or campaigner, as long as the focus is changing and challenging the impact of poverty on Londoners. You do not need a main focus of poverty for your work or be a member of 4in10, although you are very welcome to join. You can find joining information by clicking here.
Application is simple and just requires an email of up to 500 words stating what you would like to do, why you want to do it, what will the money do and how much you need. Once submitted, you should receive a very quick response.
Send your application email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The closing date for applications is 22 September 2021.
