Armed Forces Covenant Fund – apply by 6 September 2019

The Positive Pathways Programme is part of the Veterans’ Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund and fund projects that develop and run activities to support the mental health and wellbeing of ex-forces.

This programme is open to Armed Forces charities, CICs and charities/CICs that have  substantial experience in working with veterans.   Organisations will need to have a good understanding of mental health needs and how to support them, including where to signpost veterans to if they are not well.

One-year grants of £35,000 and two-year grants of £70,000 are available, as well as smaller Local Grants which offer up £20,000 for activity-based projects and you can apply for existing projects.  Examples of these include:

  • sports
  • arts/culture activities such as music or theatre
  • getting outside, for example gardening activities
  • heritage projects such as conservation or archaeology.

This is a rolling programme with multiple rounds.

The next deadline for applications is 5pm on Friday 6 September 2019.

Decisions for this date will be awarded by the end of November 2019.
