Advocacy Manager, Skylarks – apply by 24 February 2020

Salary: £18,000 per annum (actual salary) / 20 hours per week – initially funded for one year

Skylarks is recruiting an Advocacy Manager to develop and run their advocacy service.

The Advocacy Manager will manage and provide legally-based information, support and advice to parents/guardians on the education of their child or young person with SEND. 

They will give parents up-to-date information on the law, explaining what it allows them to do, and giving clear next-step advice.

The role is part home-based, for administration tasks, and partly appointment-based at the Crossway Centre in Twickenham and other suitable locations across the local area.

It is anticipated that the right candidate will start work in April 2020, or as soon as possible after then.

The post is subject to the employee undertaking an enhanced DBS check.
